Erewash Mysteries was a landscape consultation for the Erewash Partnership and funded by Natural England.

The project engaged different sectors of the community through two processes.

Firstly an interactive digital game based on geocaching which got participants moving through the industrial landscape and responding to questions about space, place and natural heritage.

Secondly a travelling installation which used an illuminated map to collect and tell stories about the landscape and to understand people's engagement and ownership of it.

The project was led by myself with my collaborators Sarah Jewell and Mark Binks.

The final report included an audience segmentation model to understand the nature and pattern of engagements in the landscape and approaches to change.
