Truancies (UK, Germany, Russia, 1998 - 2001)

Truancies was a series of commissioned urban performances undertaken in Bristol and Manchester in the UK and in Koln, Germany and St Petersburg, Russia. 

In these works, the performers head is bound in gaffa tape and the peformer undertakes a journey relying on the kindness of strangers to complete a ceremonial act of devotion to the environment.
