[g]host (Nottingham, 2003)

An interactive video work commissioned by the Radiator Festival of New Technology Art in Spring 2003. In this work a solo audience member goes on a walk veiwing their environment through the frame of a video headset.

At key points in the journey an alternative journey reflecting poverty and dispossession is blended into the frame using an array of video transmitters. The intent of the work is to open up the viewer to the narratives that reside at the periphery of place.

The work concludes with a meditation on history, narrative and place.
